Tamiya 1/35 Panzerkampfwagen Panther Ausf G

Just to show that I don't just build aircraft, here are a few snaps of my Tamiya 1/35 Panther G, which was my first armor build, completed around 1998/1999. It's a bit old, but still one of my favorites. I added a lot of small details, and used Fruili track. Unfortunately, with it being so old, one of the tracks disconnected when I hauled it out of the display case to take some photos (which is the side where the track tension is not right) but I got it back together again.

This model depicts a Panther G somewhere in Germany, Fall 1944:

Thanks for looking!

Very nice Doug, I see extra details on those fans and screens, really good. I can see why that's a favorite! Clean yet dusty, nice job :soldier

If AFV's can be described as having 'aesthetics' or 'beauty' then in my opinion the Panther is 'beautiful'.... perhaps 'handsome' is a better word. Always liked the way they looked, but strangely never got around building one.

I really like this build, Doug, great finish and fabulous photography as Dave said.

:good:

A good clean build. Lots of potential there. You need to do more armor and your journey to the dark side will be complete.
