Stamp

I saw those a short while ago and started wondering how hard it would be to make a flexible resin version with casting marks and badges etc. Probably CNC would be better. Love the innovative idea though. Thanks for posting it up as I hadn't due to Cats. They are severely cramping my web surfing and gaming.

I did a quick read of some reviews. The medium shown is rebottled nail polish, hence the acetone to clean it. Model acrylics and enamels were tried but they aren't thick enough to evenly stick to the silicone pad, especially the acrylics. When trying to apply a second stamp it was nigh on impossible to keep alignment.

There is a learning curve with one reviewer not having much success until taking the Advanced Training Program from his better half.

Cheers,

Yeah this is kind of like trying to do pad printing. I used to have to do silkscreen art for the equipment a company I worked for. While I didn't do the silkscreening, I learned the processes. this is also how they print stuff (lettering, logos, artwork) on surfaces that aren't flat.
I have purchased in the past some stainless steel masks for doing German markings on planes. I think the same company also does masks for armor as well. It is always going to be a challenge to do paint on any non flat surface.
