Spraying Mr Surfacer 500- it worked!

And it was all I had- lol- I mixed it near 50/50, giving the lacquer thinner the advantage and sprayed it onto a flat surface to cover scratches from #320 dry and 2000 wet/dry paper on Testors Chrome silver.

Maybe it helped too that I was working on a large piece of clear styrene? Perhaps the hardness of that plastic helped...

It would stop my Paache H brush if I paused more than 30 seconds, but this only happened three times during- of course I cleaned everything immediately, by that time the Mr. Surfacer was as dry as a chalkboard so I resprayed with the chrome silver again! Almost perfect.

I have a before pic, but I went so fast i didn't take a pic of the surfacer after it was applied.

But it worked!

Moon or Terry- I added this while viewing the 'recent topics' I guess it was put here by default- could you please move it to the lounge? Thanks CR
