Indeed apparently suffered a major stroke and next few days will be a worrisome time for family and friends alike. Thoughts go out to his family.

Yea the B17 one was the first for me. How to build dioramas was the major push for me, so many years ago. I still look at it from to time.

Just read that Shep Paine will be moved to the Hospice-care floor of the hospital.

Shep Paine had a massive stroke monday. I haven't talked to his sisters but the family stated he had been put in a hospice sector, and from what little I know, that isn't a good sign. There is a large tribute to him on Facebook. If I hear any more news, I'll post it. Shep is several years younger than me but I don't remember how many.

This saddens me to no end
:zen :zen :zen My thoughts are with him & his family! Hospice care is not a good sign. But, could just be that he'll be given special care since a major stroke is serious business. A year before my dad passed, he had a stroke & they placed him on Hospice care in the hospital so he could get more 1 on 1 care. Hopefully the same for Shep

Have just seen the announcement on FB tribute page that he passed away.
RIP - thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
Like so many others, I have admired his work and his amazing talent.
Very sad that he is no longer here, but I think many generations to come will find inspiration in his work and learn a lot from his books.
