Sharkmouth's Garage Sale, 32nd Scale, October 2025 including Freebie!

About the freebies, any scale, will be posted on other groups on Wednesday, October 15th. Anything remaining goes to recycling on Wednesday, October 22nd, and the images removed. I really do need the room. It's getting claustrophobic in the garage!

Moving things around in the garage, I found boxes that never shipped, one being for @dewertus (Hubert) and another. Like a Hallmark movie, I left myself a message to hold this for a Mexican modeler who could not pay until he regained employment. Well, it is defnitely a decade later so it is up for grabs.

Inside the box are two complete 1/32nd scale Bf 109G, the 109G-6 from Hasegawa has a box but also the Promodeller Bf 109G-2 (Hasegawa molds without a box but also complete, including the resin wheels). While kits are complete, their sprue frames are cut to fit into one box and have room for aftermarket items. So, what are the aftermarket in the box? Each variant has it's dedicated Eduard interior and exterior detail sets, QuickBoost exhausts and guns, and TWO Montex Masks Super sets, (full markings). The Hungarian scheme being my favorite for the Bf 109F-4.

To come up with a fair price, let's sum it up first:
$25 - Hasegawa Bf 109G-6 open box on eBay
$30 - Monogram Promodeler Bf 109G-4 Tropical open box on eBay
$92 - Four detail sets totaled on Eduard
$26 - Both Montex Super Masks found on eBay
$173 but will ask for $100. Already in box to ship.

Like that weird antenna with the plexiglass dome.
That direction finding antenna (usually kits have a PE ring with radiant bars resembling a loading screen icon) is a direction finding antenna that is rarely on single engine fighters. There are exceptions such as the specialized nightfighter Bf-109 E-4 with the PeilG IV Gerät.

That particular variant was released by a Czech company in 1/48th scale and I happen to have one. Different antenna, clear vacuum-formed dome, and decals.

After seeing that the Bunny Fighter Club BFC0023 will include the Swiss Bf 109G-6 sharkmouth I want, I decided to dump my large scale projects using the Hasegawa kits.

I have two complete Bf 109G, the 109G-6 from Hasegawa has a box but I also have the Promodeller Bf 109G-2 (Hasegawa molds without a box but also complete, including the resin wheels). While kits are complete, their sprue frames are cut to fit into one box and have room for aftermarket items.

Either kit, with Eduard's PE interior and exterior sheets and Quickboost exhausts plus guns, is $40USD.

If you want both for $80USD, I will include CMK's Bf 109F conversion along with Montex Masks (two of them) for the Friedrich since decals aren't included in the CMK kit. So that would be both complete kits (instructions and decals are included), two sets of Eduard Bf 109G-6 interior PE, two sets of Quickboost resin guns and exhausts, one Eduard Bf109G-6 exterior, one Eduard Bf 109G-14 exterior, CMK conversion, and two Montex Masks sets.

Since I expect the Eduard "Afterparty at the end of this month to have a nice sale for BFC members, anyone who purchases this prior to that sale will also receive a resin bomb, rack, fuel tank, and Ventura Decals featuring the Finnish sharkmouth scheme I had planned on using.

Regards,
I would jump on this but its just too expensive now adays to get stuff from the States. Sigh.
