Okay got back to this again this morning. I tried painting the radar arrays by hand and it turned out looking like a dogs breakfast. So I puzzles how to spray paint without getting overspray all over and a light bulb went off. I took 3 squares of plastic wrap and made a small slit in each. Then I wormed them over each radar leaving just the face free. Painted in valejo 981 orange brown as per instructions and it worked the treat. Getting very close to done now.
