James, I know my memory might be off so let me check but the instrumentation in the vehicle was the same metallic gray color as in the Shilka. If you have the time, let me check. By the way, it is a nice kit. New resin wheels are on the way.

Compare the metallic gray color to other electronic equipment used by the Soviets in their AAA vehicles.

Nice work you Lucky Puppy! :mpup

I'd kill for one of these in 1/72 scale; as well as an SA-6 and a Shilka! You bug scale guys get everything!

I'm watching this with interest. It's always a pleasure to watch you work on models; especially given the issues you face. It truly inspires me to keep going.

Did that before the first paint job. I think although dark it could still be seen. Even going to add the decals. That should be fun.

First time I have been able to model this week. Not much done, just the launchers and one radar. Hope to paint the interior again this weekend so I can continue with the vehicle.

That looks cool, James.
I like the Photo etch radar array. That's what PE was made for. (y)
Keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Bill
