Republic XR-12 Rainbow Cockpit

James, thank you much, that is perfect! Between that cut-a-way and the written description I found in Wings of Fame Vol.3 I think I can make a reasonable attempt at the cockpit, and feel comfortable it will be close to the real deal :drinks Again, thank you!

This first one would only help if you were building the proposed airliner version although the caption hints at what the military version looked like

The second one is part of a Republic sketch for a proposed version of a radar equipped rainbow. I would think that since it shows the pilot and copilot having separate panels and the fact that there would be little reason to completely redo the cockpit that it's probably close to the second prototype. The Rainbow book I have states that the first prototype was pretty much a shell for test purposes and only the second ship was fully equipped as an operational aircraft would be. I hope these are helpful.
