Well finally remembered to do something to this :facepalm
I hit the upper surfaces with lightened base coat. I also added some light blue in to the mix, to try it. :idonno
I then cleared it with a Testors lacquer and stuck on some decals.
Ended up getting to hot in the garage this morning to flat coat it. That will just have to wait until this weekend.

Finally got the white wash on tonight. 
It was my first try with chipping fluid. I did some practice runs on an old model to see how it works compared to hair spray. I'll let you know if you use your airbrush to apply it, the airbrush will gum up BAD. I ended up using a sponge to apply the chipping fluid. I still need to play with using the fluid, but the results tonight was easier than using rubber cement.

Well I thought this campaign ended, but just might squeak in
