I'm now a fan of Das Werk. These could eventually get a full interior. Their first armor kit was the Stug III G. I really like Stugs and got it. I was so impressed with that kit that I bought this one and the others that they have released.
Yes. The tooling on this kit is amazing. So much detail, you could really get a lot of painting effects in there.
When I google Panzer III ausf J for research it usually takes me pretty quickly to the IV. Even then, I feel lucky if I see a good butt shot of one of themLooking busy Tim!
It helps to dig up photos of the real thing. There are several armor museums around the world that have videos on WW2 German tanks. In some cases the tanks run, or are in process of restoration which is a huge help with all the stuff inside and the painting and assembly.
I would have had a lot more trouble with my Pak 40 if not for the walk arounds I found online. Also after doing some thought on that build, I would change the instructions around a bit when assembling the double layer shield on it. I think I will be getting some paint on it this weekend.
What does @Tim A. need? Apologies for not catching it but I am sure I have what is needed if I know what to look for.Oh @Sharkmouth Saul...TMI time?
@Tim A., do you need rear shots? I have plenty! When I google Panzer III ausf J for research it usually takes me pretty quickly to the IV. Even then, I feel lucky if I see a good butt shot of one of them![]()
