Glad you found the Das Werk figure acceptable Tim. I think that they are a touch soft on the details molding, but otherwise are good.
Years ago I painted D&D figures a lot and discovered that sometimes a little carving to accentuate the detail often gave better results. Usually didn't take much, just sharpen the edges and remove the soft fillets in areas where there shouldn't be fillets. That also made painting easier in many cases.

Compared to the others I've gotten he's excellent! Plus you can't beat the price.
