So whilst I'm still waiting ( ) for those parcels to arrive so I can finish the P-47 project, I grabbed a 'quick build' project off the shelf at lunchtime yesterday.
Yep the Airfix Series 3 Super Mystere, guessing it was in the catalogue around 1972 - I bought this off a well-known on-line auction site around six years ago, the price on the end plate is written in felt-tip... £0.74p !!. It was advertised as complete but started, but all that was done was the tub had been glued together and the bays for the airbrake had been sprayed chromate yellow.
So from cracking the box to building, to primer then PSR was less than two hours yesterday afternoon. Think this is what could be termed a 'therapy build' !
