Hey guys. Checking in, I know it has been a while. Good news is there is no flooding in our part of the state, the southwestern part and the rain has been a welcome heat buster. We were averaging triple digit heat indexes before the state got swamped. That being said, we could do with a week or two of no rain. We were relieved to see the new tropical depression is going to get bounced to the east by a high pressure area moving in. This is the second time this year our state has been hit by what they call a 100 year flooding event. Back in March northwest Louisiana got the rain and everyone along the Sabine River, the boarder between LA and TEX, flooded from the Toledo Bend Reservoir to the Gulf. Here is a map of where the current flooding is.
