NFL 2011/2012 SEASON

What a game! Course I took a hit on a couple others I thought were gimmees...

My fantasy QB Newton didn't light it up like I thought he would *sigh*
 
Well th afternoon finished up with th Raiders Stoppin' th Jets !! Fantasy wise , a few of My Receivers fell short. Britt for Tenn. went down with a serious Knee injury ! Arrrrrgh !! I did have McFadden on My Team !!

Yeah...it was a wacky week to be sure! Lots of "sure wins" really weren't...won't have all too many wins as compared to the first two weeks...

Occasionally the line comes out with a PK for some games .
This means basically no line , an even game , just pick the winner .
This is done because of the status of players [ injury , playing or not playing ] , or just because the teams are evenly matched in the bookies eyes .

Just some thoughts on the 1st quarter of the season

Raiders continue to shoot themselves in the foot with stupid penalties.This ain't the seventies where we can overcome that stuff.
Who can figure the Bengals,they are usually gutless,but they burned me twice this year.
Who is happy to to see the Jets taking ther lumps,go Pats next week,maybe Ryan will shut his mouth.
Cheyenne,your Brownies are killing me,shouldn't they be better
Pack,lions look great

I've enjoyed watching the Lions play , ..... nothing like watching a game where the team you pick comes back with 20 some odd points to win ........ each week !!! , ...... makes for watchin a good game .
Sanchez reminds me of McNabb , good quarterback , but seems to choke a lot .
All the pundits were callng the Eagles the " Dream Team " before this seaon started , ...... yeah , dream this :stinker

Ok , we're on our first bye week , ..... this means 6 teams will not be playing this week so the 16 game per team schedule can be extended to a 17 week game schedule .
, ...... an extra week of football for us , ....... mucho extra bucks for the NFL .

There are many thoughts on a team playing after a two week " rest " , are they better after a bye ? , are they worse , or not able to cover the line ?
