New Year’s resolution – Get these Queens done!

Last year (a few months ago) I said I wouldn’t start anything new until I finished up everything that I had previously started. Well, I’ve made it so far, so I’ll make a grand proclamation: I will get these finished before I start anything else. No campaigns, nothing. There has been some talk of a “Finish it up campaign” for those that didn’t finish one. If that comes to pass, I’ll wrap up the Ma.K Raptor suit and nab a ribbon that way.
Whew – It looks like a years worth easily. Wish me luck and keep me honest.

Thanks for looking, and watch for progress. :eek:hyeah

This one is pretty close. Some more weathering and rust and it will be #1 for 2013.

my get done right now is Graf Spee and the Thunderjet. Anything else out there is just a lose cause.

Hang in there Bob.
A little bit every day, or a little bit here and there will get it done.

Cheers,

Bill

We share a similar goal! After the 509, I have a review kit to finish (will have to be staelthy about it), my Well dio- and even an Incredible Hulk figure! I don't like having half-baked stuff hanging around- so they gotta get done!

That is my plan for 2013 as well. I started a bunch of kits over the past several years trying to work myself out of a slump and I need to get them finished for some closure. I have one campaign to finish here and two more else where and when those are done, no more till I clear the decks !

Maybe it's a good time to arrange that shelf queen campaign?
I have a couple of projects that need to be finnished, and in the middle of february when we are settled down in our new house, i will start on a big truck in 1/24 together with a dumpster trailer, then it would be nice to have a clean desk......

I've got several builds I want to get finished up, and here I just started 2 more builds, but both hopefully will be pretty quick to wrap up, but I guess we'll see.

It looks like I'm not the only one!

Lets all get busy so that we can dive back into the stash. (y)
Thanks for checking in a sharing your stuff.

Cheers,

Bill

Well then......

I'm throwin in with ya Bill. Same deal with me, lots of starts that need to get to the finish line. :D

2 Panther A's for a diorama, a Puma, a late Panther G, 1962 Chevy Impala, an ersatz " King Tiger ", Martian War Machine.....

Mike B)

hmmmmmmm I have a Skyraider and a Mirage 3 that really need to be finished also (Those are the ones I can think of imidiately :bang head :bang head :bang head ) I also have a bunch of gift models that I want to build to thank the guys for sending em to me. Most importantly a P61 that I plan to tackle very soon. :fencing

Go Mike!
Go Dave!
Get it Done. Go for the checkered flag!
(Have fun)

Hunkering down because I have a lot of figures that go with most of mine,

Bill

Great models Bill, Panzer Vier is :ro:
Bill You are in a better position than I am, I need at least three pages to put all my started kits maby more  :gogo

All the best!
Dusan.

Hey Bill,

Good idea (y)

I have to finish my Morser Karl Gerat, that could keep me busy for the year 2013 alone :woohoo: Also the Kanonen und Flagwagen I have to finish but I'm still looking for a AFV-Club Flak 38 for it to replace the trumpeter one, and for the MiniArt T-70M I still waiting for some workable tracks.

So enough work to do, and I will not buy a new model untill I finish the above :ro: :ro: *

Cheers Erik

* [sub](unless I find the new AFV-Club M-109 A2)[/sub] :evil:

I am in the same boat as Dusan. I had a lot of kits over the last cpl years that just frustrated me to no end. I try to get a cpl of those done. I also have to look into the make-up campaign and see what I can salvage.

Joe

Sorry to be boring but i have never started a kit with another already on the go. Its a strict rule or i would never finish anything. ;)

Good for you Paddy, I use to be that way..now, just today, I was thinking of starting no less than three kits in the coming weeks.

:hmmm

I have a dozen Sherman kits going not counting everything else  (don't ask for pictures)

Ahhh they will get done one way or another (y)

I think the reason i knock these things out so quickly is i'm always looking forward to the next project. I have miles to go with my diorama but my Avro Anson is the thing spurring me on ! If i just start the Anson i will never finish the dio and thats not fair on people following the thread. ( i kid myself people follow my threads )

Thanks Dusan. Thanks, Eric (* I know what you mean. What was I thinking?)
Hang in there Joe. You will be glad that you did.

I admire your discipline Paddy. I used to be the same way too. I don't know what happened...

Thats the spirit, Sherm! Sounds like a couple of platoons worth. (Lets see some pictures  )

Everybody get busy (and show your work). (y)

Cheers, Bill
