New war movie. The Pilot

Lots of CGI, you left out the MiG-3s, but it is probably entertaining. I'd go see it.

Thanks,

I don't know of any flying IL-2s or MiG-3s... so if CGI gets me a movie with Soviet WWII planes, they can get my money.

I do, but I know they won't be lent out to a movie:

I just wish their maneuvers kept in line with the aircraft's capabilities and the laws of physics. Otherwise, a movie to enjoy and not overthink.

Regards,

That's very cool! I agree...but if it's anything like the T-34 movie I'll enjoy it...

SPOILER Alert !!

I did like watching the aerial combat ,
The pilot did a Douglas Bader (Got his legs amputated)
He than completly destroyed a steel rail bridge by cunningly re directing a Bf 109 in to the top arch of the bridge , in all .... a crap movie !

Like i said, i only liked the Arial combat .

Why not do a Douglas Bader movie? Is his real story not interesting enough?
They did in the 1950's
