New Armor Count: 566 Armor Models Finished.

The count goes up. Here's another five armor models I've finished up so far this year.

Three of these are the Hasegawa dump trucks in 1/72 scale. I found three of them in thew stash so I decided to build them all. They have different numbers on the hood, but that is about the only difference in these trucks.

Here's the first one, number 4456136:

Next is number 665137:

And finally, number 802048:

This next truck is the PST 1/72 scale Ford G8TA Tractor Trailer rig:

And finally, all these trucks are being escorted by my newest Dragon 1/72 scale M2A2 Bradley, the version used in 2006:

I would have had this built with the other five Bradleys I did, but I didn't find this until much later.

That's all my armor I've finished so far. These are five of seven models I finished. The other two can be seen in the Aircraft Forums, so feel free to check them out there.

As always, thanks for looking and comments are welcome!

Nice!!! Duke, no one is ever going to accuse you of sitting on your hands doing nothing that's for sure! :D :D :D :D

Tom

Thanks guys! Glad to see you stop in.

Yes MP, I'm definitely building a convoy; I got three more trucks to start.

Tomwes, I gotta do something when I'm sitting around trying to recover...

TomkN, it'll come. Looking forward to seeing what you finish when you do.

Nice work, Duke! You said 5 armors built this year - that's about 5 months or a month a kit. So I guess it would take you 566 months to build 566 kits. That's over 47 years! How old are you now?

Thank you Model Maniac. This was five armor built this month. I've actually built 14 armor models so far this year, as well as 11 aircraft and one small ship. I'm 48 years old, and have been building models since I was seven. I still have almost all the models I've built since that time, except for ones lost during moves, or stolen from exhibits and shows.

I actually started building armor when I was nine. I average finishing between 40 and 50 armor models a year.

Feel free to check out my Work in Progress Threads in Aircraft and Armor to see more of my upcoming models under construction.

Thanks for posting!
