The Nakajima Shisei Kika...

This was a release by fine molds... and what a fine model kit it is!! The plastic is very thin and rich in detail...and it has some peculiar things... one of those is a screw and a nut for balast...

So first of all lets take care of flaps...

After taking care of some parts of the interior is time for the paint... (XF-11 + XF-71)

The guys from Fine molds had a great idea for balast

Now time for some details with Xf-49 X-1 and Vallejo silver

More work!!!

The engines... i did some experiences on them...

Wing bondage

Dry fit...

After putty its time for a base coat of Gloss black!!!So the silver goes smoother

Silver...

Japanese Green

Japanese Grey and gloss varnish

Overall Gloss varnish and figure...

Yellow and the decals... curious that the hinomaru (hinomaru = japanese roundel) comes in too stages... first the white circle then the red one

Red circle decals and the hinomarus are done

Matt varnish... and its done!!! Yuuupppiiiiii!!! ;D ;D

ehheheh!! funny looking bird... and i forgot to say that it looks very much alike a ME 262 but its smaller and the engines where "made in Japan"

To think they reverse engineered that plane from German blue prints in 6 months.

Well, it's not the same airplane. It is a good deal smaller and lighter .

Interesting build sort of disappointed that Fine Molds would have gaps where pieces don't quite fit.
They are reportedly the elite in great model making.

I love diversity !
