Messerschmitt Bf.110 G-4 Nightfighter

Hello all,

Since I am still upset about the latest Me-163 (not as good as I wanted), I decided to chill out with an old favorite, the Bf.110 G-4 with all the Radars installed.

This is the Eduard Profipack 1/72 of course with some PE. The kit is really good, I did an E-Version a while back.

This will be the 2Z + FR, Mount of Hauptmann Wilhelm Johnen from the 7./NJG6 based in Neubiberg at the end of the war. I particularly like the "Schräge Musik" cannons installed in the Cockpit. This one also has the FuG 220 SN-2d Antenna System with the diploes angled at 45°.

Hope you like it.

This is the Progress so far:

Hey everyone

Many thanks for the comments and encouragement. I have not been able to access the site as I would like to, you'll probably kick me out for being an absentee member.

I did get some progress. I am happy with the new Vallejo paints, they are wonderful. Also adding all that PE after the weathering makes a world of difference.

I hope you agree with me. comments and critique as always greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Alex

Hello everyone

Sorry I have been absent. Not easy These days. I finally got some bench time and tried to finish this 110 and the 163. Mybe I have hurried too much, they are not what I expected. In any case, this is the 110 now.

First RLM 76 and 75 fine mottling,

Very neat, Alex I bet a small bit of sanding and touch up would remove those bubbles on that prop. I think the brush applied mottling really adds to it. :popcorn

Thanks guys

I must have been distracted since I did not see the bubbles. Trying to get too much done in too Little time.

I am calling this done. Not my best but still always improving. Thanks for looking!

Cheers

Alex
