Master Box Allied Forces, North Africa desert battle series, WW-II era in 1/35th Scale Kit # MB3594
By Shawn W. Gehling
This is another excellent set based on relaxed poses of Allied figures in North Africa (this is great for figure painters and those of us that enjoy figures in a “non combat” pose).

The Kit:

Contains 1 sprue with 67 pieces that have no flash.
This set contains five (5) figures one French Foreign Legion (with two different heads) one without a hat and one with a beard and the famous white kepi, armed with a Lebel Model 1886 rifle(or can be modified to be a MAS-36 by cutting down the Bayonette lug). One Australian machinegunner armed with a Bren gun. One US tanker (with two different heads), one without a hat and one with a US Style tankers helmet, armed with a holstered .45 caliber pistol. One British infantryman armed with a Lee-Enfield rifles and One Sudanese infantryman, (a British Colonial) soldier armed with Lee-Enfield rifle
The weapons, uniforms and equipment look accurate.
Conclusion: Master Box has done it again, producing five excellent looking figures all in relaxed poses. Individually they are great and can be used as single figures or they can be put into a diorama.
Uniforms and equipment are covered in numerous books, so information on these should not be too hard to find.
Overall this should build into an outstanding replica and is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys figures. I would like to thank Alexander Surzhenko of Master Box Models for the review kit.
