Extremely delicate, you can see where I snapped off a bullet when measuring it. Luckily, this strip would have to be cut in two to fit into the ammunition box with the flap over it.

The shallow impressions aren't enough for me unless hidden within a mound of spent links. I still have two packages of Mission Models PE links to roll for the more visible items.

Regards,

Not as insane as rolling the spent links. Griffin supplied a bunch of them in the Halftrack set, I think I rolled...2. I'd go with these for that effect.

Are they going to do any WW2 era stuff?

I wonder how those impressions would work as starting points for a pin vice? Kinda' like slotting screws...

I have the Mission Models ones too but for every three I got bent I lost one to the 'ping' effect.

Well Ken, they are good starting points but the drill is tiny!

Might I suggest Drill Bit City!

Isn't that the place I turned you on to?
:coolio

The carbide bits are too fragile. For a half inch (50 Cal) a #79 drill bit is perfect and I can use the high speed steel bits which are a LOT cheaper. For anything smaller, you are correct, Drill Bit City is the way to go!
