I hope to see one of these as a marking choice:

Wish it was 1/32. I'd buy a few of them. The only colour bird missing isnt really a colour bird. She's the Electric Jet and was the only CF-101 to have slime lights. Seen here with her stable mates.

Thanks! Better yet, Kitty Hawk should thank you as there are three markings in the package so I need three kits!

I bet that was a hell of a racket those things flying over head.

So what's the story on those birds, why the fancy color schemes?

We have always had colour birds, or aircraft for airshows or special events. While the 3 Squadrons had colour birds at different times, this group was for the retirement of the Voodoo and flew across the country. The Electric Jet is a one of and it lasted longer than the others, but was retired eventually. As for noise, well thats an understatement. My first experience with Voodoos was my first night on my first base Comox. About 0200 there was a BANG BANG.....BANG BANG and the room in the barracks was shaking. Rushed to the window to see 4 AB's taking off. The transient barracks was down by the QRA and 2 birds got scrambled. Will never forget it.

BTW the aircraft are 409 Sqn Night Hawks, 416 Sqn Lynx, 425 Sqn Alouettes, and 414 Sqn

Was talking to a friend today and I had to take another look. This is a single and Canada never flew them. Sorry Saul no colour birds. I guess I wont be getting this kit as the markings will be limited and not of interest to me. Actually the exhausts should have been my first clue as they are the early ones.

Great looking kit, I am waiting for RF-101C Voodoo and K.H. Mig-25 :dude

All the best!

Page not found is all I got James.

Did a whatif of a 1/72 HobbyCraft kit into a CF-105 Mk 3 Arrow and had it with the Cougar suqadron markings.

Cheers
