Just in time for Halloween...

Master at Arms
My homage to that old Monogram kit, Rommel's Rod, is finally complete.

I stayed with the DAK theme, this time a Kettenkrad on a mission. It's 1/16 RC and the Panzerschreck has an IR emitter for battle with Tamiya tanks. It can't take hits, only dish them out since there's barely room in the hull for the motor and gear box as is. Besides, they're dead already. ;)

The driver's arms are articulated to swing with the handles bars as it steers.

Gotta love it! Wonder if you could load up some evil laugh for it to play instead of blast sound..

Thanks guys.

I wish I could get better pics of it, the sandy tone washes out on film. Usually models look better on film, but in this case it looks like a mess and a lot of detail is lost.

That's awesome Mats.

I'm thinking about jumping on a Famo build and doing the whole lot of passengers like this. The Ketten crew was a quick one off with no thought of molding and production.

Thanks again guys, you are too kind.

Yep, the figures are scratched, but in essence, they are basically just an armature. What went into these would just be the beginning of a normal sculpt and very little time was spent on accuracy and draping of the uniforms.

This thing was made to run wild on the battlefield.

Yes, indeed! But I can't help but think the driver will lose his mind when the gunner touches one off. B)

don´t think it will be a problem he just pick he´s head up and continue driving hahaha

Again, crappy photos in play, the driver's collar is blown up against his neck with the blast in mind. He also has a hole in his helmet (and a corresponding on in his skull). I'll hit the area with black pigment when I do the final dusting. :D

I saw the hole in the helmet and wondered if that was where you were headed. The rips in the pants are a nice touch as well. (y)
