I'm back... Sorta

I have been out of sorts health wise lately, deaths in the family and Linda's uncle not expected to be around much longer. We used to take him to all his appointments and out on the town when he got lonely, he just turned 90 a couple of months back and lately his health has spiraled downward.

Building just wasn't in my mind and since then nothing has caught my eye that warrants building. The Tiffy is sitting here in the box awaiting much needed attention, the Harriers are mostly finished with the exception of the ordnance and decals. My eyes are still not 100% but with these pop bottle glasses that the VA gave me they are some what better.

My daughter and the grand daughters moved out to her faience's house and they ( the girls) think he is the greatest, Linda and I like him real well also. The youngest one finally has a daddy and the other two are just making him pull his hair out. They will become a family in June and it is supposed to be a big wedding but they wont let me bring my shot gun.

I guess tomorrow after the laundry is done I will see what I can get into and maybe finish a kit. Until then... Have a good evening..

Hi, Paul-

Sounds like you've come up on a tough row to hoe- sorry to hear it. We've gone through a lot of the same in the last year- you have our sympathies. I 'm glad life is showing show some joy as well- all the best!

Alrighty Paul! Glad ta see ya back on the boards! :good: I fully understand about family health problems which are keepin' ya from the bench. Well, it'll still be there for ya once ya get settled down. Family's more important in times like that bro...
My Suggestion about the wedding, Pack the shotgun up ahead of time on the sly... (y)

Hey Paul, glad to see you back online, even if you just pop in to say Hi. :v

Sorry to hear about the health problems and such. That is very good news about the daughter and grand daughters though! Hope you guys have a great wedding!

Hiya Paul, welcome back. My sympathies on the bad stuff and congrats on the good. Take it easy and one day the bug will bite again and you'll be building in no time. All the best.
James

Paul sounds like they are already a family, just need to make it official. But maybe you can sneak a belly gun in just in case... :rotf

Sounds like you're dealing with life Paul, I got some :zen left over for you, seems I got some spare from last week. :love

Hey, whip out a quick Tamiya something. Nothing you have to worry about the colors of or if the shape of the rear window is .1mm aft of where it should be. :v

Yep Paul best medicine ....... get that shackle ........ tie it to the bench leg ...... open a kit ..... that always makes me feel good ..... :eek:ldguy

Glad you are at least popping in to the board Paul. (y) :D

I understand about having downer time and have been there myself. Glad the kids are happy with their soon to be dad. If the older kids are teens, or soon to be teens, pulling your hair out is normal. :bang head

We all need time off from the hobby, I spent the weekend playing a video game and then reading. Finally last night I dug out a new kit and started on it. It always seems to take some effort to clean the bench and sit down and get started, but once I do it is hard to set it back aside. :hmmm

Hey Paul. I can understand how things can weigh you down. Keep your head up and we'll be praying for you.
