I think I'm in a minority.....USN CAG Birds

This is relating to the modern tactical scheme era only, not the early '80s and earlier hi-vis era. Those I don't mind, as that is how they flew into combat.

So while browsing through decals for modern USN combat aircraft (lo-vis mid-80's on), I've been getting frustrated by the complete lack of operational options. It seems like 80% (or more) of the available decals (both kit & aftermarket) have gone to the bright, gaudy (my opinion) CAG bird decals. If you are extremely lucky, there may be a standard lo-vis option included...but it's a rarity. What originally started as just a little splash of color, quickly escalated in a few years turning 1 or 2 aircraft in each squadron into essentially flying murals.

So my question for you all is... Am I alone in my desire for the functional lo-vis markings for my tactical scheme aircraft?

Personaly I find that the inbox options are usualy that lowviz birds and I like the more colorfull cag options - Propably why the navy does it.

What gets me is that they paint a low-viz camo on a warbird that can be seen by radar 200 miles away. Bring back the colorful Navy birds!

Not that up on the Navy schemes, got examples of these?

Examples of a typical "tactical" scheme:

Examples of current CAG birds:

These examples are all F/A-18s...but the concept is similar for all aircraft (although the USN is pretty much down to only the F/A-18, E-2C, & MH-60 currently).

Neat, but this fell in the mix for CAG search, think someone has some 'spainin' to do.
