Co-production began in 1988 with Egypt assembling kits from the US. By 2013 Egypt had some 1100 M1A1'S in service. Production restarted in 2015 following the Egyptian coup attempt on another 125 tanks.

In Syria, we have a (Trumpeter) B-4 152mm howitzer with the gun replaces by the 115mm one from a T-62 tank!

I would love to get 1/72 scale decals for those Egyptian M-1 Abrams as well as the M-60's too. I could use those in my Egyptian Army.
