OK, this cordless mouse of mine has been driving me crazy with its antics, scroll wheel up and the cursor goes down and vice versa, except just when you think you have it figured out. Then it does something else. :vmad Yes, I rebooted, yes, I put in new batteries, yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled it. SO, I fixed it!

Took mousie outdoors, got the 3 pound sledge out of the tool box, read him his rights and BOOM!

Yes, the new mouse works just fine after witnessing the execution. Toaster's working well too. :rotf

I've done that to a couple of hard drives in the past but not because they weren't working.
 
I'm calling that a hard kill. Perhaps "Emergency Repair Procedure #1" is for more resilient devices! :bat :rotf
