How Much Is Too Much??

Iron Mike

Master At Arms And Resident Curmudgeon
How much is too much when it comes to dealing with problems with mail order vendors? I ordered some product from a vendor that I have purchased from several times with no issues, only to receive half of the shipment with the packing slip showing no back orders! My attempts to reach them via e-mail have gone unanswered and the two times I have contacted them by phone, I get excuses and promises that they will ship, so far with no joy. I have resisted the urge to blast them here, because stuff does happen, but rapidly reaching my limit. They have had my Paypal payment since April 6, 2011. What do you folks think?

They got the money for the full order but only shipped part of it??

You know what I think. Redneck time. I'd dispute it all. You've made several attempts to contact them and still can't get it resolved. Let Paypal take it up.

Thanks, fellas! I just opened a dispute, guess we'll see how it turns out.

Absolutely Mike. I had an order from a vendor which went wrong. The order sat in the mail on the other end of the country. I could not register an investigation, the vendor had to. They would not saying stuff like this had happened before. I kept listening to excuses until it was too late to register a dispute. The vendor then turned around and said because I gave bad feedback he could not send me replacements. I'm sure if I opened a dispute before hand it would have reso0lved favorably. So make a dispute and they will either have to put out or pay out. Either way I wouldnt go back and I'd warn people. My 2 cents.

Tell you what I think Mike. All these shops have the ability to purchase the wares from the vendors.

The only things separating any of the shops is the profit they want to make ( markup ) and how well they respond to their customer needs.

A small asking price does not override customer care .

Good customer service is what keeps me coming back.

You have been more than patient. Lodge your dispute !

Cheers, Christian B)

Well, I did file a dispute with Paypal, haven't heard a word from the vendor yet. Figures.

You'll either get money back or product, but you wont get any thank yous from them, I don't think.

Might as well tell who they are so others will be warned.

You'd think after my phone call and e-mails yesterday and the e-mail I sent to Paypal, they'd at least acknowledge. :idonno The company in question is RZM Imports, they have been reliable in the past, but have really booted this one.

Wow thats a surprise. Never had problems before. And I just ordered from them the other day. Hhope there are no problems coming my way. Best of luck Mike.

That's exactly how I felt about it, James. I wanted to think it was a hiccup, but it's been over a month now. :(

Package arrived at 6:50PM EDT today. I would strongly urge the folks at RZM to make use of their e-mail more regularly, service this time around was awful! On a happier note, the book is awesome and the tracks look worth the wait.
