Ha, we posted at about the same time.

It is very cool, smooth running engine. Wonder how much power it can produce.

I noticed that sorry. I don't know about the power. I guess it would be equivelent to it's size.

There are no spark plugs or ignition sources. It runs on compressed air being released through the system. Also explains why it is so quiet.

Okay, I disabled my Flash Blocker (it stops automatic play of videos from various sites. Great for tabbed browsing without a bunch of videos starting at once. Bad for making some invisible, like this one.)

That's some amazing machining and engineering skill!

Ah that's nuthin'. I had a plastic V8 when I was a kid and it was visible! :rotf

Seriously, you gotta love machinists. Certainly seems to becoming a dying art.

I told my wayward nephew the other day he needs to get a trade like that. Machinist, pipefitting, welding, no one is doing those skills anymore. Makes me want that mini lathe all the more.

Very cool, I had a super nice mini lathe back in my college days and sold it to get some groceries and beer money.... mostly beer money :facepalm

Very very cool. Would love to be able to build like that. Had a guy who used to come into my Dads store who made a working Nene 10 in 1/9 scale. Worked at a metal shop down the road. I love this stuff.
