Hello All,

As I haven't said hello yet, I feel that I should. Some of you may already know me from other sites. I live in Hereford UK (home of the SAS and Bulmers Cider) I am an ex soldier having served 12 years in the Royal Engineers as a Combat Engineer and a Communications Specialist.

In modelling terms I am mainly interested in things World War 2, North West Europe post D Day, and I do dabble in things modern. I have one or two stalled builds and I have a few pictures here of things finished and part of a stalled build.

So here is a finished thing or two:
Italeri 15cwt

Tamiay Marder III

Trumpeter E25

and finally this one of the stalled builds, Italeri Crusader Mk III AA, with one or two additions...

Great to see you here too Brian

You really should show your work more. I've not seen most of these before but they are absolutely 1st class

I've got one of those Chevy trucks. I'll have to pick your brains soon on 'improvements'.

Good cider however (like me) comes from Devon!

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your compliment, funnily enough the E25 was only done as a fun weekend build. It took two days to build and a weekend to spray the tri-colour scheme. The Marder was my 'first' serious diorama and the mistakes that I made have given me pointers for future builds.

I have a few more builds which I haven't photographed and maybe they might be published. I am working on a 1/9 scale figure, no blog no in-progress pictures. But once completed I will post a picture or two.

Cheers

Brian

Welcome to a fellow sapper :drink , good to have you here enjoy the site its full of brilliant modelers and friendly people.

Nice work.

Have to agree with you on the E25 build. In fact that whole E series put out by Trumpeter were fun builds and ones that could be knocked up in a weekend. I have done all 3 and the E100 is a monster when sitting next to a Tamiya King Tiger

Hey Brian,

Lovely stuff you`ve posted there !

Welcome to the site

My Grandfather was a Hereford man, born on Wye Street.
and my past family members are buried at St Martins along with past members of the Squadron

Brian,
Welcome aboard. :woohoo:
Nice looking stuff. Can't wait to see more of it.
1/9th scale, Great, You got a German Motorcycle to go with it?
I remember the old bikes in that scale.
Again Welcome, enjoy, join in some of the Group Builds
and just plain have fun.

Hiya Brian :) ,

Welcome to Tanks and things , there are some way cool models there too ;) . I hope you will join one (or more) of our group builds , just ask Laura , Gary or Noel for details !

Jenny

Thank you all, for your warm welcome.

Shawn,, the 1/9 figure is the Special Ops Models - Navy Seal Iraq, however I am painting my figure in MultiCam as used by the SAS. It is a very well detailed model and the moulding is first class.

Regards

Brian

Hi Brian.

Welcome to T&T. And forgive me for missing you yesterday when you were new ;) . Anyways, you have some great work there. It would be cool to see some more of your stuff show up in the galleries. And maybe like Jenny suggested, join at least one  of the group builds so we can see how you do the things you do.
