Japanese text only.

Apparently, they will no longer distribute Dragon in Japan.

Maybe a Japanese reader can elaborate?

Will Dragon stop distributing Hasegawa in Hong Kong and the US? If so, who will fill the void?

Regards,

???

it seems to affect the japanese market only!

watanabe-san or takemura-san surely could be of a help for further info but for oceania, europe and the u.s. this shoudn't be of any matter!

and for japan it only means the change of the distri agent - maybe they will start their own distri?

Actually, it does affect the US market since Dragon Models USA will no longer import Hasegawa models into the US.

 Does not Hasagawa just do those flying thingies anyway Laura ? ;)

that's why i don't bother too much!

but they also release some awesome megadetailed floating thingies like the already legendary akagi kit! (the most expensive floating thingy i ever saw! NOT including the loads of pe available that lets the total price double to approx. 600$!)

(and i love watching floating thingy build logs!)

Y'all just hatin' on what you don't understand...where's the Tolerance?

Hasw said it's because Dragon's Customer Service. Well this pits one against the other and they both are going to try and out do each other. that makes US the winners.

Ahem,

While not the best, Hasegawa does have loads of small scale armor and even a few 1/48th staff cars (albeit bundled with their aircraft kits).

Platz is taking over distributorship in Japan. CyberHobby is now an actual Dragon owned brand which will take on Hasegawa in the air thingy department as well as ships (say hooray Laura).
