:Hiay My wife and I live at the Chattanooga Chickamauga Military park in north Georgia. I stubbled across this site while looking for info on the primer color of German armour during WWII.... yeah. Anywho, poking around here I see some awesome work combined with good humour, I'm not extremely talented or funny myself but like to be surrounded by folk that are.

Tim

Welcome Tim, make yourself at home.

:peace

I don't mean to be rude but you've got the face only a mother could love.

:pp

That's a beautiful face...Again with the negative waves!!!

Hey, I have a Great Great Grandfather who was wounded there. Howdy Neighbor and welcome aboard Hood. I'm in upstate SC. When you look at the global makeup of this site we're next door neighbors.

Crack a joke and post a picture, we'll be the judge of the talent. :mpup

Welcome to the best site going. If you dont think your that funny then you'll probably avoid the naughty corner. That means you can be our lifeline and send fresh beer :silly: You'll love it here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. That mug in the pic is our Boxer Luka Rose when she was a pup, she's six now and still a baby but that hat don't fit anymore.

The Chickamauga Battlefield is a wonderful place. From the house we can hear loud and clear when there is a special event that involves cannon fire. Btw the cannons are not allowed to use a full powder charge in the park as it would shatter windows in surrounding dwellings.

Agreed, I'll be the designated beer passer!
:thumbs :drink up

Welcome Tim! If you feel the urge, head up I-85 to Spartanburg, SC the third Thursday of the month to the Piedmont Scale Modelers monthly meeting. We usually have a good time and have a very talented bunch of folks. Moonpuppy shows up occasionally (nudge, nudge)and several other TNT'ers are members too. Again, welcome and post up some pix! (y)

Thanks for the invite to SC. Mike. There is something I should confess to the fellow southerners here before I do run into one of ya'll and am given away by my accent or lack of. I actually grew up in Indiana. Yes thats above the Mason Dixon line but my wife is a true native of Alabama, Roll Tide and all that, so give me some points? I have learned to just smile and nod and let the wife do the talking in certain situations down here

Hi Munich :ro: Luka's the funny one I just take the picture's. If I posed that look I'd just be considered grumpy. Very nice web sight you have. amazing work!

Tim

You were doing good till the "Roll Tide" comment...but you're a dog person so that makes up for it.

Haha Moonpuppy I didn't know what that meant till I met her. She mutters it in her sleep and I've even witnessed her greeting a stranger down there with it :blink

I'm transplanted to the South from Iowa myself, Tim, so I talk funny too (huh, Moonpup?)You can PM me for directions to the club meeting and hobby shop if you like. :ro:

Ok guys I give, was attempting to show a couple of pics in the showcase forum but can't figure out how to do it. I don't see an attachment icon.

Tim
