Hi James . Thanks for thinking of me. As I have mentioned ,all things that fly of are of interest to me :D .

I think the narratives about the glider pilots and anyone they carried into combat would be of interest to anyone with an interest in WW II history. Fascinating !

I found the one where Walter Cronkite admitting how stupid he must have been for piloting these got my attention . A planned crash from which you hope to walk away from is an interesting idea :sick:

As it goes, the a Waco and Horsa await in the closet. No DFS 230 or BV 40 . Leave to Blohm & Voss to come up with an attack glider :coolio
