Finished Bradley #3

Hiya!
Yea I know, another Bradley, This is the last one. My friend who was with me in Germany mailed me 3 of these things and I wanted to finish them off.
This one is a Academy M2A0.

Compaired to the other 2 Bradleys which were Tamiya, I deffinetly prefer the Tamiya over the Academy. The mold was not as crisp as Tamiya.
That being said, I used as much of the Eduard PE for interior and exterior that my eyes can see. I also installed the Armorscale M242 barrel/manlet. I finished it off with the Fruli metal tracks for the early Bradley.

Paint was MM dark green (B52) dry brushed with MM faded olive drap and washed with MM burnt umber and them Tamiya dark earth. The driver is a US AFV Driver by Legend Hobbies and I have additional crew coming from Verlinden. I also found the old Tamiya US Modern Army Infantry #35133 which I will use the parts for added gear.

Well, here are the pictures, This will be the last Bradley for a while. I do want to build the M2A2 with the Legend Conversion ERA and commanders sight.
I do plan on placing this on a base (as well with my Winter Bradley) Pictures to follow of that.
Thanks again!

Oh, I forgot to add that I added the non-slip surface with Rust-Oleum fine texture spray # 239122 Rustic Umber.

I humbly submit for your approval.

Not as good as come of you guys, but I'm getting used to all of your tech tips. LOL

Sorry to add another post, I can't see the edit button... :idonno

I forgot to add, I painted the interior with MM Sky and to the best of my memory it is a perfect match. (I lived in a Bradley for 3 years LOL)

and as far as scale goes, The right side (from the rear) gets 82 track blocks and the left side gets 84. Well, either the tracks are too large,
or the kit is too small, adding the correct amount of tracks pushed the rear idler wheel beyond the rear armor skirt and looked horrible.

I had to remove 3 blocks from each side to make it right. no biggie, but not to scale.

and for those who are wondering why the light blue on the rear of the TOW tubes... Those are moisture sensors. We were taught that "Blue is cool, white is alright and pink stinks" LOL

enjoy!

Great build Chris! I like the Bradleys...
Didn't know moisture is an issue with TOW launchers. :eek:hmy:

Greetings,Ron.
