Finally finished. 3 Japanese prototypes.

Well, since my workshop is no longer classified as a disaster area, I've been able to return to modeling. I finally got to finish up my Meng 1/72 Japanese planes.

First up is a pair of Katsudori fighters. They are nice little kits. Very little work needed. You get both in the kit, but they give you decals to do one of each scheme. So if you want a matching pair, well, have to buy another kit. These two were my first use of Gunze Sangyo paints. I ended up getting about 68 brand new bottles from a guy at a model show. $25 got me the lot. I like them. The camo scheme was done free hand, painting the lines over the green.

The second is the Ki-98 fighter. Unlike the above jets, this one was never actually built. The silver is Floquil, with everything else being Gunze Sangyo. And the green is actually Gunze's Violet Brown for German aircraft. LOL.
