Edmonton 2014

Okay went to Edmonton yesterday with Maus (James) and my two boys. Didnt seem to be as big a turnout as 2 years ago. I never entered anything. Guest was Roy Sutherland of Barracuda Productions. Unfortunately there were no speakers or seminars this year. Had a fun day, spent too much, saw lots of cool models and got out of Cold LAke for a spell. Here are some pics.

These 3 were made by a fellow in Cold LAke whom I just met. Needless to say I have someone to talk WWI a/c with now.

No group shot? Comeon James!

looks like some good models out there, really like that He111 :pilot

If you're like me and have little time to browse the gallery one by one (or are simply too lazy), here is a tip.

Open Notepad and type <html> the copy the content of the text box next to "HTML Codes for Article:" in the link James provided. Finish by adding </html> and saving as filename.html on your Desktop.

Now, find it on your desktop, click it, and enjoy!

Regards,

No, didnt take a group shot.I was just functioning and as everything was a bit fuzzy I just clicked away. The He 111 is 1/32.

Well, I had to test what I wrote up there ^ and saw the images.

While I normally don't go to shows to look at completed models, it is great to see all skill levels represented!

I don't know what happened to the RC flying ladies' trousers but one of the attendees had a nice Hickam Field, Hawaii T-shirt! I am sure our Modeler of the Month, Joe, will like it as well.

Regards,

thanks for posting james! and i'm glad you made it there :good:

Do you mean the Ar 186 on the Scharnhorst turret Chris? If so it is 1/32 scale. I dont think I saw a 189 there. Of course my eyes were blurry so I missed some stuff.
James

Ha , I did my get my numbers wrong . :rotf

Just got done looking at a build of a 1/72 version done with the after market catapult. That one was is amazing ! :S
