"Dakota Warrior"

It's been a while since I posted but I have been busy with projects. This is a 90MM Pegaso Dakota Warrior. Painted with Vallejos and Scale 75 acrylics. Base is primarily Martin Welberg Studios grasses. Rocks and twigs from the yard. Snow is Plastruc Micro Balloons filler. Base was made for me by "Miniature Base Artist" brother Big Al ( Alan Presley ). Thanks for looking!

I first airbrushed it to get various tones. Then I painted, using the base color but adding color to either lighten it or darken it, and painted those horizontally to get the effect.

Amazing. The leggins and shield are a great job alone. The skin tone, everything is superb. As I take a look at this figure, more and more details pop out. I lost count of the number of times I said “oh wow”.
