Moon Puppy asked me what I was working on, so I figured it would be easier to show him than try to explain.

These are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th figures I have painted that I like, so I "figured" they needed a better place to hang out than in a display case. These figures and the dio is 1/16th scale, measuring 30" x 32". First dio I have put together in a long time.

Here is the Chateau, as finished as it will be until it get "planted" in the diorama. Deck is done, structure is lit. Restaurant interior is completed. Just need some figures and to make some umbrellas and we should be all set!

Hi everyone!

Thank you for your kind comments. Spent the better part of the day working on the diorama, think I am nearing completion! Still need a base (kinda put the cart before the horse, just cannot locate 1/4" MDF in the greater Concord, NC area (UGH!). SO, until then, progress pushes on. Below are a couple pics of what I was able to wrap up today. Hope you like them!

Barney, no discouragement! just dive in and try something (even once you have convinced yourself it won't work! Instances like those typically yield the best results! I had no idea what I was going to do with the bottom pic, just some pink aquarium stones on some foam core, but I built it anyway, then painted it and then built a dio around it!)
