Are either or both of these correct?

Would they be work on the chest or possible the collar?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

The top badge looks like the M39 Red Army cap badge, These were worn on the forage cap/side cap (Pilotka) and the peaked cap (only worn by officers and Senior NCO's).

A larger version was worn on the winter fur cap but the two sizes did show up on all styles of caps.

Depending on the time period, Tank crews wore a "Tank" badge on the collar or shoulder boards. There were different styles and colors used depending on rank and which uniform they were wearing, Field, Service or Parade dress.

Cheers,
Rich
