Container Trailer

Fantastic, love the F1 wheels  .........only joking but how are they attached in real life ?

Usually the wheels have about 20 nuts holding them on but yours seem to have a centre type fixing ?

Those are Dayton wheels, there is a central cast hub that has a diameter to fit the tire rim. 5 or 6 clamps clamp the tire rims to the large hub. Much better than Budd wheels in freezing climates, but harder to keep the wheels running true.

Dayton wheel and hub:

Just a note, this is a hub on a drive axle, the end of the drive axle is the center part held by the twelve studs and nuts. A trailer hub would be different in that area, and front wheels are also different as they hold only one rim and tire.
