Osprey Publications has started a new series called Combat. The first book will be British Paratroopers vs Fallschirmjager. Looks to be like their current two series tank vs tank and plane vs plane.

Hey James I'm not familiar with the other type of publications you mentioned, so is it colour plates and/or photos, or more text based?

I have not bought many, but the usual format is colour plates and photos and a lot of text. Basically in they run down the specs of each subject and then do a side by side comparison.

The Combat series is brand new. I think the aircraft series was first followed by the military vehicles series. There are quite a number in the latter.
