By the time I heard it, grab the camera, look for it through the trees, turn on and set the camera, zoom the lens it would be behind the trees again.

Same thing happened to me when we got buzzed by the B1, didn't know what it was till I saw it kick in afterburners. I could feel the compression in my chest and that thing must have been 2 miles away at that time.
