A person that had collected a lot of Lewis Pruneau's and Shep Paine's work also had Bob's "Winds of War". Many items were sold as well as works by other lesser known people. Here are some photos that were posted on the web site.

I'm sure it'll be in a good home. Congrats Susan!
This was not auctioned off by Susan. Years ago Bob finally gave in and sold it to the person who owned all the items that were auctioned off. Susan was watching the auction and was very surprised by how much it went for.
Lewis Pruneau's "A Day in Infamy (The Attack on Pearl Harbor)" was the second highest sale price and it went for $12,600.

This was a massive diorama and measured 145 inches by 40 with the Pennsylvania being about 81 inches long. Most of the other dioramas went for $1500 to $6k with some of the lesser known builder going for under $1k. Do check out the site and look through the photos. While not very clear, it shows a lot of quality work that has not been seen in years.
