Sorry about that. I turned on an option that really took over. Think it's off now. I really don't like that "Chat with Expert" one, I've been trying to filter those.

I have been using the Opera browser for a number of months and it has two easy items in the settings that block adverts and turns off tracking. They actually work so good that I have to turn off the ad blocking to view the utube videos.
I have found I really like the Opera browser better than any of the others I have used.
Just an FYI, Google and Utube (which is owned by Google) are doing a lot of censorship these days. This is really true of Utube where if there is even a partial hint at anything they don't like, it will get demonetized and hidden away. I learned recently that there are something like 15 thousand words that are on their demon list with one of the highest priority being WEF or World Economic Forum. If those are used or even hinted at the video will get shut down. They can even read lips with their A.I. now.
Just letting folks know.

In case you didn't notice. I turned off the ads. It hovered just under $4.00 for like 3 days and I got tired of seeing the ads.

I wondered. While I run the ad blockers and such, I didn't mind them too much except for the fact that they were all over the place for me as I look at all kinds of things.
I have thought about doing a contribute, but am running tight for the next few months due to making a poor decision. (NOT hobby related)

We have a News TV channel over here called GB-news
Its right wing but actually does a good job of getting both sides of a discussion across.
The woke brigade hate it !!! they started an online boycott of anyone who advertises on it and of course the left here joined in.
The upshot is its now funded by the veiwers and a private guy with very deep pockets. None of the large advertisers will go near it for fear of a backlash so we have the same half dozen adverts every 15 minutes for the last 3 years. It drives you up the wall but people still watch (its overtaken SKY news in viewing figures and won 3 major TV awards this year)
It just shows the power of the woke brigade over big corporations and silencing free speech though in that no one will advertise on it....

Yes we do, I'll ask our guy about the best way to do it. I did setup a sponsor portal at one point, not sure where it went..I got people now to sort that out.
Have not heard of this, will check it out.
