I remember this Lanc parked at Biggin Hill when i was a kid before it went to East Kirkby where it is now. It was in an all white scheme. It was in full flying trim then so although it is restored it was airworthy anyway so it had all its certs and papers. Oddly the East kirkby airfield where it lives now is a farm with a couple of hangers and about half its runway still in position but it was a satellite field for RAF Coningsby where the RAF flying Lanc lives now. The RAF Lanc flight path often takes it over the Kirkby lanc ands also this means there is a lot of cooperation between the two teams. There is enough runway left for the Kirkby Lanc to operate still in fact it did "take off " accidentally for a short distance not long ago during a fast taxi run demo. I think the problem up till now has been four airworthy engines but i gather they have them now.

Turn the sound right up. .... and dream..
