68 years ago today, what is commonly know as the Battle of the Bulge started.

Beside that awful movie they made, what's a good watch or read on the battle?

Wooo...Good one Terry, really gives a first hand look from GI Joe's point of view.

Mikkel I love the Band of Brothers, I keep hoping that Santa will bring me the full set of DVD one year. Guess I need to get proactive on that.

Saints and soldiers, is a good one about some GI's that escape the massacre at Malmedy, also shows that all germans where not brutal murdering machines :fencing
Here is the trailer :popcorn

Since reference books are my main entertainment. Jean Pallud's The Battle of the Bulge; Then and Now (After the Battle Publications) is my favorite. Completely fictional but inspired by the Battle of the Bulge is A Midnight Clear from 1992.
