Bases for 1/16 scale figures

Can anyone help me with some sources for nice wood bases for 1/16 scale figures? Hopefully reasonable
priced. I found some, but they cost more than the figure. :eek:hmy:

Thanks,
Tom

I came across this selection

http://www.adalbertus.com.pl/en/wooden-base-60h50-duplicate-1.html

Obviously there`s some closer to home and Im unsure of shipping etc

I shall carry on searching

There are a few places, but they are expensive. When I was unemployed I found a very cheap alternative https://www.modelersalliance.com/forum/sprue-u-tips-and-techniques/41718-cheap-figure-base
Hope thats of some use.

you have a Hobby Lobby close by? They have blocks of wood that can be stained and used.

As Bob says I have used some of those blocks and if you can find a very good one (without scratches and chunks out of them ) they are very effective and well cheap !

Thanks for the help guys, yes there is Hobby Lobby & Micheals. I have bought a few bases there, some of the basewood
ones are quite nice. But I was hoping for something a little more "upscale", I know I have seen them, just can't
remember where.

May have to put them on the shopping list for AMPS.

You can try out Ben Franklin/AC Moore arts and crafts. They sell cheap unstained boxes and lids that work well for figure bases.
