Very weathering and details.
Your driving conditions there must really be tough to have that inspiration . I have never seen any VW vehicles deteriorate to such an extent in the places where I have lived.

Cheers, Christian B)

Thanks. Christian, I've seen worse. It has nothing to do with the roads. Some of these busses have been renovated but only to an extend. The body have not been dealt with. Some are seen at shows etc.

Concerning the rusted out VW, I guess the Germans had them removed from the roads before they got to this stage.
They use a lot of Urea on the roads and it is more corrosive than salt. :bang head Works good though.

Cheers, Christian B)

Love this one Charles...and I am with Mats on the bumper sticker. ;)

I went searching for one of the Revell kits to buy but couldn't find one for under $40...:(

I've seen a video lately, can't remember what it was or where. But the VW microbus body was just rusted out bucket of bolts but the engine was pristine, looked like it had been rebuilt and was spotless. I got the vibe that the rusted out style was what they wanted

Nice job here Charles (y)

I like the rust bucket look of that poor old VW. You did a wonderful job on the build. I too, like the bumper sticker, totally today.
