AK interactive Extreeme metal

I have been whittling away at the Trumpeter EE Lightning for a bit and now that I am to the place where the paint goes down I thought I would do a test shot of AK Interactive Extreem Metal, not to be confused with Chef's music. I left a link to the YouTube video of this product and by watching the video for my self I decided to give this stuff a shot. The part I wanted to paint is the intake ring. I laid down a black base but this is where you have to be careful because any splattering will show up in the finished product as spotty and even cascade wont get it out.

the spots are from the splatter of the base coat. There you have it, I think after I do some more prac tice at prep work it will shine.

You did a much better job than I did with their chrome. When I sprayed mine it like beaded up, wasn't very chrome like.

Thanks for this Paul. That base is key to it, regardless of what brand you're shooting.

yep, just make sure that you use their black base and not alclads because they are proprietary. I cant wait to get this thing going. I think it is really super neat.
