I have been fortunate to have visited The Imperial War Museum at Duxford, England several times, but never when they were flying. I love the sounds of the Spitfire and the Mustang on flybys.

Wow, looks like a hell of an event to go to.

I've had the pleasure of hearing a P-51 once in my life. Nascar owner Jack Roush has a P-51 Mustang that he flies occasionally, and I'm almost positive thats who's plane I saw/heard once last summer. It has such a distinctive sound that is unlike anything else flying now.
